Testimonials
Dear Dr. Soroudi, I cannot believe how I lived my life for so many years with my poor vision prior to you fixing my Keratoconus. I am a busy dentist, and for years, although I could do my close-up work without much difficulty, I had been suffering from poor vision when driving and going to my son's wrestling games:

Ptosis Repair
There are multiple reasons why peoples’ eyelid/eyelids start to droop (develop “ptosis”); whatever the cause, Ptosis, aside from its obvious cosmetic stigma, can truly affect one’s vision. Needless to say, most people who develop a droopy eyelid seek medical attention immediately and request intervention. The most common reason people develop ptosis is that the “tendon” that keeps the eye open starts to dehisce and can no longer support the weight of the eyelid.
Unilateral Ptosis

There are two basic ways ptosis can be repaired: from the outside (requires cutting the eyelid skin to access the underlying tendon), or from the inside of the eyelid (the skin is totally spared). Both of these approaches are very effective, but depending on the cause, Dr. Soroudi might decide to choose one approach over the other; he performs both of these types of operations in-house under only local anesthesia with minimal sedation for patient comfort. You may return to your usual work activities in a day or two with minimal bleeding or bruising.
If you suffer from a droopy eyelid (or eyelids), make an appointment to see Dr. Soroudi for an in-depth evaluation; you’d be amazed at how much you can improve your vision and appearance.
