Testimonials
Dear Dr. Soroudi, I had RK 15 years ago by a reputable eye surgeon. For the past 7 years, I’ve had to wear glasses to see better and even with my glasses I had lots of visual problems (glare and haloes). I now see 20/20 out of each eye, and I’ve never been happier with my vision.

Laser treatment of Retinal Tears/Holes
The development of small holes or even tears in the peripheral retina is a very common occurrence which usually goes on without any symptoms, and unfortunately remains undetected in a high percentage of patients. The danger in developing holes/tears in the retina is that, from time to time, they can lead to a frank retinal detachment, which may lead to complete blindness if not treated in a timely manner; a retinal detachment is a true medical emergency.
At an early stage, these tears/holes can be treated using laser which may prevent the need for surgery altogether.
Dr. Soroudi possesses the necessary diagnostic equipment and lasers in-house to treat such emergencies. If you suffer from sudden floaters or flashes of light, make an appointment for a complete dilated ophthalmic evaluation; this may save your eye from going blind.
