Testimonials
I had already seen 4 prominent eye surgeons in Beverly Hills before I was referred to you for another opinion regarding Cataract Surgery. I must say that, after meeting with these surgeons, I was hesitant to come to such a young doctor, but you had been very highly recommended by a few friends.

“Bladeless” Lower Eyelid Fat Removal (with or without cutting the skin)
From a cosmetic standpoint, there is no other feature on our face that makes us look more “old” and “tired” than lower eyelid “bags.” Unfortunately, this feature is usually hereditary, and people who suffer from lower eyelid puffyness (“prolapsed fat”) get it at an early age. People with lower eyelid “bags” usually complain that they wake up with bags under their eyes, but this disappears as the day goes on. Overtime, this puffyness becomes more permanent and becomes noticeable throughout the day. They try all different sorts of skin-products, creams, and make-up, but unfortunately, these treatments are, at best, temporary.

There are two basic surgical approaches to removing lower eyelid fat: an “external” approach where the lower eyelid skin is incised to allow access to the underlying fat that needs to be removed, and an “internal” approach where the actual incision is made on the “gutter” of the inside part of the lower eyelid also known as the palpebral conjunctiva (hence the name “trans-conjunctival”). Both approaches, done correctly for the right candidate provide amazing results.

Dr. Soroudi specializes in minimally invasive (BLADELESS) lower eyelid plastic surgery (oculoplastic surgery). His philosophy about cosmetic eyelid surgery is that people who undergo eyelid surgery should look “natural,” but younger and more rested; he does not approve of operations where people’s eyes become smaller, round, or stretched, and needless to say, he routinely repairs these sorts of complications.
Dr. Soroudi has performed over 600 blepharoplasty procedures to date, and a high percentage of his oculoplastic practice involves doing revisional surgery for those who have already undergone eyelid surgery by other doctors (usually general plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and “cosmetic” surgeons) with poor results.
Dr. Soroudi performs ALL his eyelid surgeries under local anesthesia with mild sedation as he feels there is NO reason to undergo the risks of general anesthesia/heavy sedation for this quick & easy procedure which he does without even giving his patients a bruise! Dr. Soroudi’s eyelid plastic surgery patients enjoy quick, painless recoveries with minimal swelling, redness, and post-operative pain, with beautiful “natural” results.
If you suffer from puffy, wrinkly lower eyelids, make an appointment to see Dr. Soroudi; he will discuss all your options in great detail during your consultation.
